Department of Science and Technology (D.S.T) is one of the top ranked institutes in India. In order to encourage scientific research in India, DST is known to provide funding for researchers in various fields of science.
Women Scientist-B (WOS-B) is a fellowship awarded to such research-oriented women.  DrSeemaaGhatewas honoured to have received two fellowships under this scheme because of which she was able to undertake her pioneering research about phytoremediation.
